The
Advanced Signal Processing Research Group, Faculty of Electrical Engineering,
UiTM Malaysia is pleased to announce The Workshop on System Identification
for Sensing and Process which will be held in the Faculty of Electrical
Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia, Shah Alam on 17-18
December 2008. The workshop is to be conducted by Prof.
Dr. Mohd Nasir Taib. The workshop is tailored to provide an excellent
platform for beginners to explore an exciting route of system identification
research. The focus of this workshop is on sensing and process, which
include black box modeling, nonlinear system identification and process
identification. The workshop materials will be delivered by lectures
as well as hands-on. The computing program such as MATLAB will be used
throughout the hands-on sessions.

This
workshop is aimed at prospective and current postgraduate students,
engineers, scientists, researchers and educators who are interested
in system identification. Related areas include signal processing, instrumentation,
control and neural network.
